Skateboard Heat Transfer Artwork Requirements
Good transfer production starts with a file that already knows what deck it is going on. The safest approach is to prepare the artwork at final print size and include enough bleed to cover the finished skateboard perimeter.
Recommended file setup

Plan around the deck, not just a rectangle
A skateboard graphic can be printed on a rectangular transfer sheet, but the artwork should still be designed with the final deck outline in mind. Keep important type and logos inside safe areas and let backgrounds or full-bleed artwork extend beyond the perimeter.
White underbase and transparent areas
If natural maple, stain or veneer color should remain visible, identify the intentional transparent areas. If colors need to stay independent of the wood tone, tell us that an opaque white base is required.
Send a reference image too
A small JPG or PNG proof is useful even when the production file is a layered PSD, TIFF or vector file. It gives everyone a quick reference for orientation, intended colors and final appearance.
